Church Life
Members of St Mary's Church are currently involved in the following activities.
St Mary's Events Committee
St Mary's Events Committee meets regularly to arrange special exhibitions, workshops, and lectures which take place in the church during the year. A highlight is the exhibition during the annual two-week Adur Festival in June, when church members welcome thousands of visitors to St Mary's.
Themes of past exhibitions are:
2006 'Passed to the Future' (the Restoration of the medieval vault)
2007 'Walking the Way' (with 'Mystic Rose' labyrinth)
2008 'The Beauty of Holiness'
2009 'Seeing the Light'
The theme of this year's project was:
2010 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' – a celebration of the United Nations International Year of Biodiversity
