Church LifeMembers of St Mary's Church are currently involved in the following activities.Farmers' Market Coffee MorningsThe Shoreham Farmers' Market, selling local Sussex produce, takes place in East Street, Shoreham-by-Sea, between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm on the second Saturday of every month. The market normally has around 45 stalls selling a wide range of local fresh produce and goods. On the same Saturday morning, between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm, St Mary's is open for the sale of tea, coffee, and homemade scones and cakes, with stalls selling plants, church souvenirs and herbal soaps; there is also a stall selling secondhand books, videos and CDs. Depending on the time of year, there may be other items on sale such as greetings cards and craftwork, especially at Christmas and during the Adur Festival. All money raised is given to the Friends of St Mary's Church for the continued restoration of the building. St Mary's is also a Fairtrade Church, which:
